Our Story

Kappa Eta Kappa (ΚΗΚ) is a co-ed professional fraternity, nationally recognized in the United States, that was founded in 1923 at the University of Iowa. Originally a Electrical Engineering Fraternity, KHK now only requests that members are majors in computer, science, or technology professions at their member universities.

Iota Chapter is located at St. Cloud State University in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Founded November 11, 1990, Kappa Eta Kappa is a Co-Ed Engineering and Science Fraternity. We seek to create well rounded individuals who seek to further the technology world. There is more to a person then them-self. No one is an island. We group together to support each other in our fields. By doing so we go farther together than we would have on our own. We have respected members in the technology industry all over the United States.

Academic

Today many of our members also study computer engineering, computer science and other technical programs. Members often study and work together at our house.

Deeply Committed

College can be a new and often stressful experience. It helps to have friends and family close. Members benefit from a fraternal relationship strengthened by tradition and legacy. Membership is also a great way to meet new, like-minded friends-of-friends.

Highly Skilled

Members are hired out of school into well-paying careers. Some have become successful entrepreneurs. Membership opens up connections to industry from across the globe. Professionals visit and give talks about life, work, and how they found their success.
