Kappa Eta Kappa: Iota Chapter

About Us

Believing that the attainment of education as well as technical training is the aim of all true engineers, we band ourselves together to foster and promote fraternal relationships among the Engineering students; to strive at all times for the maintenance of a complete and lasting understanding and fellowship between the faculty and students; to unceasingly cherish and develop character and ideals of service as the necessary attributes of the profession.

Kappa Eta Kappa is a professional engineering fraternity founded in 1923. There are four active chapters:

BETA: University of Minnesota-Twin Cities
DELTA: University of Wisconsin-Madison
THETA: Milwaukee School of Engineering
IOTA: St. Cloud State University

The professional fraternity is based on qualities other than grades and speculation in the future as to success. In the professional fraternity there is a deeper investigation in regard to the qualities and characteristics that point to the future. There is also an effort to correct certain actions of members in able to better train them for professional service. In other words the professional fraternity does not words the professional fraternity does not have the stiffness or aloofness that are usually present in a scholastic fraternity, and which are necessary to some extent by that type of group.
